Jammu and Kashmir state is situated in the northernmost part of India.The state is divided in to three regions Jammu, the Kashmir valley and Ladakh.This is the only state of india which has two capitals Srinagar and jammu Srinagar is the summer and Jammu its winter capital.The Beautiful city jammu is situated on banks of river tawi which flows through the the middle of the city.Jammu is also know as City of Temples because one can find a temple in every nook and corner of the city.Kashmir Valley also known as land of paradise situated on the banks of river jehlum localy known as "Veth" the only river flowing through the beautiful valley.Ladakh famous for its mountains and historic monasteries, also known as gompas.Ladakh region consists of two districts Leh and kargil.
