Located at an altitude of 2,020 m, Kokernag is about 70 km from Srinagar district. Flower gardens surround this spring, which is reduced to seven points at the foot of the mountain forest. Kokernag water in Kashmir is believed to have medicinal and digestive properties. And because these properties only, spring is also known as Nag Papashudan sin or spring cleaning. There is also a botanical garden and a rose garden near Kokernag, filled with the scents of flowers and shrubs.
